Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has handed over a copy of the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister’s office.
The pass percentage in the exams is 80.35 percent while 104,761 students scored GPA 5.
The detail results will be announced at a press conference at the ministry around 12:30pm Thursday.
Results will be available on the websites of the respective Education Boards and Educational Institutions while examinees will get the results through SMS.

To receive the results through sms- type SSC, then the first three letters of the respective board (for example DHA for the Dhaka Board), leave a space and type the roll number, another space and year in 4 digits and then send the message to 16222.
This year, 17,86,613 students participated in the examinations. Among them 9,10,501 were boys and 8,76,112 were girls.
Of them, 14,25,900 students appeared in the SSC examination under eight general education boards.
Around 2,56,501 students participated in the Dakhil examinations while 1,04,212 students attended in the SSC vocational examinations.
